Carrots and Queen Ann’s Lace

Carrots are my favourite vegetable
I love a fresh batch always on the table.
But If I was stranded out in the woods,
How would I get my vegetable goods?

You see, there’s a flower that’s not hard to see
And If I do notice, I’ll take it with me.
Queen Ann’s lace it is called and it is named quite right
For it looks quite “Lacey” and it also is white.

But under the ground there grows such a treat.
That you never will notice as it is under your feet.
But I tell you right now, it’s a snack for a rabbit.
Yes, their roots are orange and they are wild carrot.

Food, what is it about food?

It can make us happy, it can make us sad.

Sick, cheerful, funny, mad.

There are all kinds of food.

Cake, cookies, pies and more.

Chips, crackers and snacks from the store.

Why do we need food?

It keeps us healthy, full, and strong.

It can also make us sad when it is all gone.

But no matter what, we all love food!

Jesus Christ is our Bread of Life!

He came to save and take our strife!
