Interview with Corrie! Featuring TinyShroom!

Hey Guys!

Today I am being interviewed by Tiny Shroom! If you don’t know Tiny Shroom, then you are probably a first time reader or one of my newest followers. In fact some of you who are my oldest followers probs don’t know much about her either other than her drawings, art, or poems. This will help you get to know her and me a bit better.

We started this interview months ago and finished it last night.

So now! Without further Ado!

Le Interview!

TinyShroom: Hello! How are you?

Corrie: Me? Oh I’m good😈

TinyShroom: You’re not looking very good! You look a bit mischievous! 😱Course, that’s part of your charm

Corrie: Is it? I’m full of surprises so watch your step, (or text).

TinyShroom: Hahah! Same… Maybe, idk. When are you doing the face reveal everyone’s waiting for?

Corrie: Ok, you asked for it😏. I will be doing the face reveal at the end of the month. I just posted the next installment to the series.

TinyShroom: AA! So exciting! Despite the fact I have already seen you a million times. Wanna know what my assumptions of you were?

Corrie: Yes! Give!!! Also, not quite a million times…..

TinyShroom: When I first texted you, through CrystalCritter, you seemed like a little farm girl, one of the super innocent, freckled little critters. Well, the first text I sent you was a prank text, so maybe I got the wrong idea.. I did, who am I kidding. Then when I got in contact with you….I still thought you were a freckled farm girl. So that was my impression! You’re a cute, freckled, innocent farm girl lol!

Corrie: Wait…. What prank text?!!?

TinyShroom: Oop! Nvm……

Corrie: Oh no you don’t! Spill!!

TinyShroom: I don’t have the text so I don’t remember, but remember that Little dancing Vocaloid girl?

Corrie: Vocaloid? What does that mean?

TinyShroom: They are synthetic singers. Remember the dancing anime girl with blue hair? Oh, and that picture of me with three arms on each side? That was funny

Corrie: Kinda? Well anyway… I am anything but a cute naive farm girl.

TinyShroom: Oh I know that now! Oh! Remember when we first met and we did so many voice messages?! That was so cool

Corrie: And we were so similar!!

TinyShroom: IKK! We should probably get back to the interview though XD What was your first goat’s name?

Corrie: WELL….. Our first goat was a buck named Mischief. He was a handful. He climbed a 5 foot fence once to escape. The first time we had him we chased him around our house for hours. Boy we were so dumb.

TinyShroom: Oh my gosh! I’ve never had a goat, but I love ‘em! My grandma has goats though, and we like to claim some of them as ours, so my first goat was Marjoram. She was a red and white Nubian. Sweet little thing. Now I “have” a goat named Octavia. She just had a baby

Corrie: Awe! The names! Our second goat was a girl we named her Sara. She was tied up in the back of the truck and she was screaming like she was dying We were scared, till our friend who sold her to us threw her some grain and she instantly shut up and ate it🤣

TinyShroom: XD So cute! What do you want to do in the future?

Corrie: Ooo! Good one. I want to help with children or politics. Or have a creamery. Maybe all three. But God has a role for me.

TinyShroom: Oh really? I knew about the Creamery but not about politics and children! That’s really cool! Whatever field I go into, I want it to be something to do with design. The next question: What got you into crochet and do you count your stitches? (I don’t)

Corrie: My Grandma taught me how to make a chain when I was 8. She also taught me the half-double crochet. When I was about 10 I really started getting better and when I was 10 I crocheted 2 backpacks, and 2 bags/purses for my sister, cousins, and me. I made the patterns for the items myself and they are still around today. I did not count my stitches, count my rows, or pay attention to patterns back then. All I did was crochet some chains that I thought were the same size and then I just kept crocheting till the pieces looked right in my mind. So yeah…….

Now I do crochet through patterns, except when I am making a blanket, and I do count my stitches sometimes. Depending on what I am making. I don’t count in terms of 1,2,3,4,5……..ect… I find a pattern, for example: I count all the way to 5 then stop, all the way to 5 and stop. But mostly I do both counting and rhythm. If you don’t count then things tend to mess up and you have to take them out when you are finally noticing then if you had noticed a flaw right off. Or I count at the end of each row.

TinyShroom: Aw! That’s so cute! My grandma, or my mom, I can’t remember, tried to teach me to crochet when I was nine or ten, but I had trouble learning because they crochet right handed (Y’know, cuz I guess that’s what right handers do) but I couldn’t figure it out. I ended up crochet this monstrosity of a little thing, I said it was a moon lol! I gave it to my dad and he put it on his lamp, but it looked terrible. Tell me how I managed to make a 3D figure or what I called “moon” without using rounds…. Yeah, true talent right there! Well, a couple of years ago my older sister got into crochet, and she gave me tips when I asked. I caught on quickly after that. I crocheted a bucket hat with bear ears—without a pattern— For my first crochet project….hahah, I gave it to one of my friend’s younger brothers, it looked a little funny but it was ok (the hat, not the brother). Anyways, I started following patterns and I crochet all the time. Now I’m here, I’m crocheting a cardigan for my current project. So.. How do you like to be comforted when you’re sad or upset?

Corrie:  I like to go to my room or the bathroom and read or text my friends. I really don’t want to talk to anyone.

TinyShroom: Ok, Sorry!! I’m tryna think of another question.. Hmm.. What’s your favorite food?

Corrie: What are you sorry about? I like Mexican food and Dessert, but who doesn’t?

TinyShroom: Oh, I misread 😂 I thought you said you didn’t wanna talk about it and I felt really bad 🥲 I love how you help me with this XD I couldn’t do it without you. What is your favorite hobby? (Also, how do you work computer emojis? I’m tryna learn how to use mine) Btw I don’t like Mexican food 😏

Corrie: Nahh, I was just saying I try to be alone.

I like reading (as you very well know silly one🤣). I have read tons and tons of books!

Computer emojis are done by clicking the start button and the period or semicolon button together. It is easy to use. It also gives you gifs and old type emojis such as: ᓚᘏᗢ (•_•) (●’◡’●) (❁´◡`❁) U_U +_+ & $_$

TinyShroom: Aaaaah! That’s so cool! There is something like that for iPad.

(● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾ See?  Anyways,  Where is your favorite place to kayak?

Corrie: Hard one! So far the Ichatucknee was really pretty, we got to kayak through these little canals and saw all these turtles and fish! I also liked to kayak on Ocean Pond because we travel across the lake and back in just one day. We go across, swim, then kayak back. It takes a while though and my arms are tired. So far it is the Ichatucknee. What do you usually do on a sick day?

TinyShroom: Cool! I hope we can go soon! If we share a kayak though, no funny business! I will never kayak again if you scare me on my first go! 😂 Anyways, last question, what’s your favorite thing to bake? Oh! I just saw your question. On a sick day I usually just lay down in one spot and watch tv mindlessly, as zombies generally do ofc. 💅

Corrie:  I tend to be a zombie too when sick. I often watch movies. I love to bake desserts the most. People tend to like those too🤣

TinyShroom: Desserts are my favorite to bake as well! Anyways, I think that concludes the interview. Next you must interview me!! 🙃 I had a ton of fun with this, thanks for doing it with me! Bye bye!

Corrie: That it does. All good things must come to an end. Thanks for having me! Byeee!

Thanks for reading everyone!

  1. Hey Corrie! This is sudden but I decided to delete Maggie’s Doodles. I’d rather spend time doing other stuff than blogging. So nothing’s wrong:) I don’t want to worry anyone. I’ve had fun being your blog friend!
