Strike Out Tag/Challenge/Thingy (IDK?)

Hey guys!

I am doing a tag thingy I stole from Grace .A. Johnson: Post Here!

I quote:

“The rules for the tag are simple (like, so simple that they don’t have rules): just strike out whichever of the items on the list you’ve done! And you can explain the how, when, and why of it, if you like! And I guess you can tag however many people you want…and link back to the person who tagged you…and have FUN!”

Sooo, here we go. I figured I would just use this post to let you guys know me a bit more and hopefully make up for being gone so long.

*Realizes no one here understands the movie and song she is referencing* I will just start off on the strikes then…….

Kissed someone:

Well sure, lots of people. Ohhhhh, in the romantic sense… Nope, never.

Gone to a rock concert:

Nope, only been to a jazz concert.

Helped someone:

Yes, I try to help as many people as I can. I actually just helped a blogger today.

Gone fishing:

Welllll, I have a dad, so yep. Also I have my own kayak and our family tries to kayak once a month at least. I have caught a tiny fish before. Nothing bigger than 4-6 inches.

Watched four movies in one night:

Oh yes, my family does not go on vacation since there are 3 of us kids and one Papa (dad) so we would have our hands full. We mostly go on day trips if we want to go somewhere. Plus we have animals to tend to every morning and to watch in the day. We bought a Projector screen 4-5 years ago and it’s like going to the movies. On the weekends we usually have a movie night but also on my birthday I tend to watch a bunch of movies. I have probably watched more than 4 movies at times. Yeah, I’m a party animalπŸ˜‚πŸŽΆ (srsly though, not a party animal at all.😐)

Lied to someone:

Yes, I have lied many times. We all have. I would not trust anyone who said they had not for this challenge.

Failed a subject:

Do you have any idea what would happen to me if I failed at school? That is not a question. Let’s not think about it…. Plus being homeschooled allows me to re-study what I have a hard time with so I don’t really get the chance to fail.

Been in a car accident:

Yes, when I was a tiny baby, not even a year old. Papa and Mama were in our little car with me and I was in the front seat I think. We were hit by a semitruck. Papa says the whole car was so silent after it happened and then the car was filled with my criesπŸ˜‚

Been in a tsunami:

Nope, Hopefully I never will.

Watched someone die (including pets):

I did go to visit someone who was dying. But other than fake deaths in movies I don’t think I have seen someone take their last breaths. I have seen tons of pets die. Last week one of our baby goats died as I was trying to help him.

Been to a funeral:

Yes, I think I have been to one funeral and one memorial service.

Burned yourself:

Yep, just now on a spaghetti noodleπŸ˜…

Run a marathon:

Nope, I have done a Pregnancy Care Center 5K Run/Walk three or four times though.

Spend over 10,000 bucks in one day:

Nope. Where would I get that much?

Flown on an aeroplane:

Yeppers, as an infant. When I flew from Nashville Tennessee to Florida.

Written a 18 page letter (front & back):

I think the longest I have written is 4 pages. I am no Apostle.

Gone skiing:

No, not even water skiing.

Lost someone you loved:

Animals, yes. In the dying sense. A few elderly people I knew who died from old age. I also have lost friends to the world or we have grown apart.

Got into trouble for something you didn’t do:

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Come onnnn, I have two younger sisters. That’s a given thing.

Stolen a book from a library:

Tecnically yes…..Two booksπŸ˜… When I was little I was hooked on The Magic Tree House books. Two kids my age traveling back in time through history and fairy tales?!? Merlin and King Arthur are real?!?!?🀩🀩😍😍 My dad was helping a friend of ours who owns a daycare fix something with their computers and my youngest oldest sister at the time was my only sister, my littlest was not born yet. My sister and I went with him and they had a mini library there for the kids who went there after school. I would sit and read for hours on that series (since they had every magic treehouse book) and when I went home the lady said I could take some of the books home with me and bring them back at other times since we went there every week for a while. The last time I went there I took the last two books in the series and then we never went backπŸ˜…, I figured I would just give them to her at church but then I kept forgetting and then we stopped going to that church. Soo yeah. Technically I stole two booksπŸ˜‚, But give me a break, I was around 7-8.

Gone to a different country:

Nope, not yet😏

Gambled in a casino:

  1. I don’t believe in gambling
  2. I am 15! Could I even get in one?

Been in a school play:

Like Grace said, “Do church musicals count?” Also I have been in church plays.

Taken a lie detector test:

No, But I have always wanted to for some reason😐😁

Voted for someone on a reality TV show:

No, I don’t think I have ever watched one of those.

Read more than 20 books a year:

Come on! More like 20 books a month if not more.

Gone to Europe:

No. If I did, I would want to go to Rome or Greece.

Had a surgery:

No, thank goodness I have not been in any trouble to require one.

Had stitches:

See previous answer. Closest I have come was when I cut my pinkie toe on a mirror and you could see the bone. We used super glue at home and I still have the scar.

Ridden a tuk-tuk (autorickshaw):

Huh, never heard of this so I am guessing: No?

Had more than 5 IM conversations going on at once:

Haha, yes, Skype, Email, Blogs, Telegram, ect.. I am a busy woman.

Been in a fist fight:

With my sisters. No one else. (Can’t say I have not been compelled to do one before though…)

Had a pet:

Yep! Right now I have 20 goats, 1 dog, two cats, chickens, Keets, Chicks, a Turkey, and a Pig. But all to myself I have had 2 cats. One is passed on now. The other animals I share with my family.

Petted a wild animal:

Does a fish count? I also have petted lizards, birds and insects.

Had your own credit card & bought something with it:

I had a gift card that was a credit card. I used it to buy some girly stuff when I was very little. I still have the card but it is empty now I think. Either that or it has around 3$ on it.

Dyed your hair:

I don’t really like dyeing hair. I just have this weird dislike for it.

Got a tattoo:

No, I don’t like tattoos, but if you wanna get one that’s fine with meπŸ˜‚

Had something pierced:

Same as last time.

Got a straight A:

Yes, as I said before, I had better get A’s or no more Corrie.

Taken pictures with a webcam:

Yes, when I’m lazy and don’t want to get my camera.

Gone to sleep with music on:

I sleep to a variety of things. From The Good The Bad and The Ugly soundtrack, to meditation music, to The Bible. I can’t or have a hard time sleeping without noise.

Open Nominations

Has anyone done any of these things? Do you want to? Does anyone else know what movie I am referencing? What song? Does anyone else listen to Daft Punk?

That’s all for now!

Byee guys!

Corrie.S.P.

Oh yeah… PS: Anyone can do this if they want.

The story of Corrie is a strange and fantastic tale told over many generations. It mostly consists of Scripture, books, friends, and fun. But, it has been known to include crochet, cooking, baking, drawing, and organization. Corrie, is a strange beast and likes to dwell in shadows observing life and reading mysteries. She plays with animals and has a few close friends. Jesus Christ died for her sins and she will willingly talk to anyone about the Scriptures. If you wish to seek her friendship you must be honest, friendly, true, faithful, charitable, compassionate, and kind. No ordinary person can win the trust of the Corrie. Explore a little bit of her mind on her blogs, she enjoys getting comments on her posts. It means a lot to her. It means that someone took the time to pay attention and read her post and that is an awesome thing! And remember, tread carefully, for Corrie is always watching.

  2. I dont think I’ve β€œstolen” library books from a public library, but if I take one from our church library- it could be a good 3 months before I return it XD sometimes I’m literally like β€œwait this is a LIBRARY BOOK?!” So you’re not the only one haha.

P.S. I read your about Corrie section- very cool! I liked that it was in 3rd person, that’s creative. Lol I’m going to stop rambling now XD

    1. Haha, I also “stole” a book from a church library. I found out about the library in the church and was all like: “gasppppp! A library?!?” Then check out a book and forgot I took it outπŸ˜…
Thanks! I actually wrote the first sentence a while ago thinking it would be cool to use in some way. I was going to make it a post about me but then decided to use it in my Bio. Haha, ramble all you want, this blog is open to ramblesπŸ˜‚ I certainly do enough of that myself.

  3. I LOVED reading your post, Corrie!!!! Your answer for the 18 page letter question was GOLD. The “I’m not an apostle” part. GENIUS sister!!! 🀣 And wow you have a lot of pets! I bet all those goats are a lot of fun. πŸ˜‰

    1. Thanks!
Haha seriously, Papa thinks that Paul wrote in shorthand so it made the letters shorter to write out but still! Imagine writing all that out! It’s amazing!
Yep, lots of pets, but they are less pets and more useful. The goats are a lot of fun. But one of the babies are driving me crazy. His name is Ichabod and he keeps jumping through the hotwire fence and eating the chicken food when I feed. Also, today he jumped in where my blueberry bush is and was eating it! Little stinkerπŸ˜‚πŸ
